According to a Bettie Page Site on Squido our Bettie is in a nursing home now:
“For those of you following the situation, Bettie had pneumonia and a kidney condition that put her in the hospital in December 2007. She became well enough to be released to a nursing home in January. As of now, she is still bed-ridden in the nursing home and her condition has stabilized but not improved significantly.
Bettie celebrated her 85th birthday on April 22, 2008: Congratulations, Bettie! Her caregivers are reading her the fan letters and cards from her many admirers and they say she really enjoys that. No new updates have happened as of late.
Cards and well-wishes may be sent to the following address and they will be forwarded along to her. Please remember to only send items that are appropriate for an elderly, Christian-oriented woman.

Suffice it to say … Bettie will remain forever young and vibrant in the public’s eye … she will never age but remain a timeless beauty inside and out.

Are you Still interested in her location? I know where she is and she is about
to die. She is under a lot of security and all that take care of her have had to
sign papers. She just recently became very ill. As you may have known from
previous reports she was in Patton. Well, she is still under their control and
when she began to bleed internally and externally from areas we don’t want to
think of, they told us all it was her PERIOD. Well, she is a little old to have
those problems. She was gone for a week or so and came back. She tells stories
when she is alert enough and at all other times she is a zombie on meds.
Pictures have been taken only to be taken away and careers ruined. Why is she
under so much protection? It boggles me. I am not involved personally, but I
wonder if you are still interested?
